Smith Mountain Lake Charity Home Tour!

The Smith Mountain Lake Charity Home Tour (SMLCHT) is a fundraising event held on the shores of Smith Mountain Lake near Roanoke, Virginia. During its 22 year history, it has raised well over $3.5 million for charity.

Eight beautiful lakefront homes are opened for touring by the general public on Columbus Day weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 11, 12 and 13 in 2013).

Brandon Newberry, and Justus Hayde from Honaker HS in Lebenon, VA Won first place with the highest total weight. [total 5 bass] at 13.1 lb total. First place in highest weight single bass 3 lbs., 10 oz bass] were from Patrick County High School; Jon Smith and Nathan Wood. A total of 19 teams competed from 11 High Schools in Virginia.
